Hunny and Lummy is a local social artist duo brand owned by Hun Ming Kwang. Formerly located at the site hunnyandlummy.myportfolio.com, we believe that the role of an artist is one of a social healer. Our works create experiences within a safe space that urge the audience to question and uncover the root and core of their personal truths. In doing so, they can get closer to answering the major questions in their unique and their subjective realities. There's a social and cultural phenomenon that we are seeing in this 21st century, that as we chase after the hustle and bustle of life, we are more often than not, lost, with no answers to these major questions of life:

Who Am I? Where Do I Come From?

We are deeply inspired by our predecessors in psychology, particularly from Carl Jung's Collective Consciousness and Dream Works, The Structures and Dynamics of The Psyche, Freud's notable Psychoanalysis, Jung's Red Book, Jung's Man and His Symbols, Arnold Mindell's Process Oriented Psychology, Healers and Shamans. We often integrate the themes from their work into ours. We also integrate traditional healing methodologies from indigenous tribes into our art. As artists, our focus lies in the intention and the concept of The Work before the choice of the medium. Beyond representations, we aspire to allow audiences to experience wholeness; one that provides a full, authentic, and pure experience for all to derive from our work, regardless background in life.
